How much weight you lose, go one size?

I am a little annoyed because when I looked up similar questions, it seemed that like all keep saying, It is either 5 or 10 The highest number I saw was 20 pounds for plus-sized girls. Well, I'm plus size and I have something more than 50 pounds lost, but I am still the same size! It is so annoying and I am beginning to get frustrated health issues, because apart from avoid, I would like able to wear nice clothes and not just "pockets". Well, I was 320 pounds now I'm 268 and I'm 5'6 "tall. I wear size 28 ladies. I'm on a diet and exercise to lose weight. I can put on a size 26, but it is uncomfortablely closely and I would not take because of this. So what I am going to have to lose 100 pounds to go down one size? 0_o Who else ever had this problem or know if there is anything I can do? Thank you!

It is not about weight, it's about inches muscle you have to fight, lost of the fact that fat is, after so many diet is less effective, loads by various factors.
